Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Identifying new sales opportunities: Sales executives are responsible for identifying new sales opportunities and generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Developing sales strategies: They develop sales strategies to achieve sales targets and create sales plans to track progress towards those targets.
  • Building and maintaining relationships: Sales executives build and maintain relationships with customers and clients by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Conducting market research: They conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and understand the competition.
  • Negotiating contracts: Sales executives negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, ensuring that the terms are favorable to both the customer and the company.
  • Providing product knowledge: They provide product knowledge to customers and answer any questions they may have.
  • Meeting sales targets: Sales executives for ecommerce are responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Reporting and analyzing sales data: They report and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with other departments: Sales executives work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure that customer needs are met and the company's goals are achieved.
